The landlady of two popular Norwich sister pubs has announced she will be taking over an NR2 bar.

Rose Hanison, who owns The Earlham and The Black Horse in Earlham Road, has announced they have taken over the lease of what was Oliver's Bar, on Unthank Road.

The Golden Triangle bar closed in February this year, and the premises have remained empty since.

Ms Hanison said: "We are really excited to have taken it over, we have always wanted a place on Unthank Road - it is such a great road and great community."

Oliver's Bar was run by friends Oliver Sanham, 28, and Oliver Holdsworth, 24, and offered a range of classy cocktails and other drinks, as well as nibbles, including hummus, bread and olives.

There are no more details at this stage of what is planned for the premises.
