City folk are being trapped in their homes as "inconsiderate" patrons of a nearby boozer continue to block paths and roads with their cars.
The Whiffler, on the Hellesdon side of Boundary Road, sacrificed more than 20 of its car parking spaces for greater outdoor seating provision during the Covid-19 pandemic.
But the pub then decided to make this change permanent - a move locals say has shunted parking onto streets and kerbs instead.
"It's out of order," said Peter Mclean, who lives in nearby Hercules Road.
"People are parking on both sides of our street and sometimes we can't walk down the pavement.
"A lot of residents have been boxed in and out of their driveways because of people blocking the entrance.
"One person even decided to move because of it."

A 'polite notice' asking people to be more considerate of the neighbourhood has been put up outside the boozer.
And locals have been sent a letter by Wetherspoon inviting them to share their concerns at a public meeting on August 22.
"We have had the police out a couple of times," said another Hercules Road homeowner, who asked to remain anonymous.
"A van was dangerously parking on the nearby corner with a trailer.
"The police came and found the driver in the pub.
"Friday evenings are the worst, but it's bad during the whole week."
District councillors for Hellesdon South, Lacey Douglass and Simon Jones, have also arranged a meeting with the watering hole.

Converting land to the rear of The Whiffler into additional parking and the potential addition of double yellow lines have been proposed during initial talks.
"I've got nothing against the pub and I want them to succeed," said Sophie Larke, who lives in Coronation Road.
"But it's a shame some of their customers are so inconsiderate.
"It's horrendous.
"Sometimes I have to walk in the road while taking my child to school because they are parked outside our house or blocking the driveway."
