A city MP is calling for more police patrols and CCTV to be installed in a city estate plagued by anti-social behaviour.
Alice Macdonald, Labour MP for Norwich North, made the plea following two men being arrested in Cannell Green for separate offences on the same afternoon.
Neighbours in the city estate near Mousehold Heath vented their frustrations after the incident last month.
They said they "can't take any more" of the anti-social behaviour, which has been an ongoing issue.
It has gotten so bad that some people living there say they are too scared to venture into the worst areas of their estate.
Ms McDonald wants to see more police on the beat and more money for local authorities to increase CCTV and other measures to prevent crime from happening.
She said: "I was very concerned to hear about the difficulties with anti-social behaviour that face people of Cannell Green.
"I have spoken in parliament about the anti-social behaviour problems we're facing in Norwich.
"I know the government is committed to restoring neighbourhood policing and to tackling ASB at its source.
"I'll keep campaigning to ensure our area gets the resources we need.
"I have been in contact with the local police who are aware of the problems and reassure me they are working with the local council to address concerns.
"We must make sure Norwich is a safe place to live for everyone."
On May 21, police arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of assault and a public order offence at Cannell Green.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning but has been bailed to appear at the centre on July 31.
On the same day, officers also arrested another man in his 30s because he was wanted for failing to appear at court.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and detained for court.
He was then fined £50 after appearing at Norwich Magistrates' Court the next day.
