The Belle Vue pub in Norwich to reopen after sudden closure

The Belle Vue at the junction of St Philips Road and Stafford Street will soon be welcoming customers again after Stonegate announced a new tenant will be stepping behind the bar.

A spokeswoman for the pub group said: "The Belle Vue is not closing permanently - we are pleased to confirm that we have recruited a new long-term publican and we are in the advanced stages of this process.

It comes shortly after the previous tenants stuck a sign to the door which read: "Unfortunately we are now closed for good.

"Thank you for your custom."

The Belle Vue has had a rocky recent history with three different tenants in three years.

Husband and wife team Sarah and John Hinds ran the pub for two years between 2022 and 2024, leaving last summer to take over as the tenants of the Boundary in Hellesdon.

Stonegate has been approached for more information about the upcoming work and reopening.
