Two people were rescued from the water in Norwich on Saturday evening. 

Crews from Sprowston, Carrow and Wroxham were called to Wherry Road at 8.59pm as there were two people seen in the River Wensum.

They rescued both of them and passed them into the care of the ambulance service, leaving the scene at 9.34pm. 

It is not currently known if there were any injuries and what the circumstances of the incident were.
