Norfolk Fire & Rescue Service was called to an incident in Norwich city centre on Sunday afternoon.
A crew from Carrow was sent to an unattended tent on fire in Upper St Giles Street at 12.56pm.
It happened at the Grapes Hill end of the busy street, near the flyover.
The crew was able to deal with the incident quickly using hose reel jets and hand appliances.
The fire was extinguished by 1.06pm.
