Police used a taser in a city estate after a man had barricaded himself into a property.
Emergency services were called to an address in Lefroy Road, in Mile Cross, at 4.40pm on Saturday following reports the man was making threats.
Police officers attended the scene and used a taser to incapacitate the man.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and later arrested on suspicion of affray and assaulting a police officer.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Station for questioning and subsequently detained under the Mental Health Act.
He has been bailed until March 2 while investigations continue.
