A city-based paella street food company is rapidly expanding after seeing a "massive boom" following its launch a month ago.

Patron Paella, set up by 34-year-old Barcelona native Enrique Riverola and his 27-year-old business partner Jarold Moreno, has been bringing a little sunshine to Norwich with its authentic Spanish cuisine.

Following a hit start at The Black Horse in Earlham Road, the duo has been expanding rapidly and is now launching at several more venues.

The firm is now available every Sunday from 4pm at The Red Lion Bishopgate following a sell-out first weekend.

Mr Riverola honed his craft by cooking huge portions of the delicacy while on fishing boats off the Catalonian coast and his dishes "bring a taste of Spain to Norwich".

Having lived in seven countries and travelled around the world, Mr Riverola has no intentions of leaving Norwich and said "people in Norwich have been so charming and welcoming".

"We are very happy and especially with such positive feedback," he said. "We had high expectations but this has been way over that.
