From bluebells and wisteria to cherry blossom trees, vibrant purples and soft pinks have appeared in parks and gardens across the country.
Here are some of the most stunning spots you can visit in and around Norwich to see spring in full swing.
1. Norfolk Bluebell Wood Burial Park
Where: Old Church Road, Hainford, NR10 3BG
Explore five acres of ancient woodland, which feature a spectacular carpet of millions of enchanting blooms.
The natural burial park is teeming with wildlife and the site is wheelchair accessible, with dogs on leads welcome.
Open Days are running on April 29 to May 1 from 10am to 4pm and donations are encouraged for Norfolk and Waveney Mind.

2. Waterloo Park
Where: Angel Road, Norwich, NR3 3HX
Arches of wisteria will be visible later in the spring at Waterloo Park, which surrounds its charming waterways.
Make sure to visit the Waterloo Park Pavilion Café while visiting, which is run by The Feed, where you can enjoy a cake or sandwich overlooking a sea of purple.
In the UK, wisteria typically blooms throughout May and into early June.
3. The Plantation Garden
Where: 4 Earlham Road, Norwich, NR2 3DB
This secret garden, located just a stone's throw from the city centre, is a treat to visit all year round to see the colours change through the seasons.
Explore its twisted woodland walkways and lawns, all with the backdrop of a huge Gothic fountain.
Entry is £2 for adults and accompanied under 16s go free.

4. Eaton Park
Where: South Park Avenue, Norwich, NR4 7AU
Eaton Park looks truly stunning in the spring sunshine and it spans 80 acres, with facilities ranging from tennis courts to the charming Eaton Park Miniature Railway.
It is also home to a lily pond, a boating lake and a rose garden.
While it is free to visit, parking charges have just been introduced.

5. Whitlingham Country Park
Where: Whitlingham Lane, Norwich, NR14 8TR
Take a leisurely circular walk around Whitlingham Great Broad, which is home to many varieties of birds.
Enjoy a coffee and cake from the 200-year-old Flint Barn, with picnic tables outside for a sunny day. Parking charges apply at the country park.
