The number of people using a lay-by on the outskirts of Norwich for public sex has decreased after surveillance signs and increased patrols were put in place.
It comes after local councillors held a meeting with police on Sunday, November 27, to decide how to tackle the frequent "concerning" incidents on the A1151 Wroxham Road which have been worrying those living in nearby villages for two years.
Now, police say there has been a "slight reduction" in those romping in the secluded lane, with no reports of anti-social behaviour since patrols increased, however doggers have still been spotted in the lay-by.
A police spokeswoman said: "Police patrols will continue and Community Protection Warnings will be issued when appropriate, which if breached could lead to a Community Protection Notice and ultimately an arrest."
Previously officers have been tied up by "legal loopholes" when trying to stop activity in the area and at the nearby Rackheath church.
