A man has been jailed for 10 weeks following thefts worth almost £600 from a city centre retail park and an attempt to steal a till.
Joseph Sharpe, aged 39 and of no fixed address, entered a business premises in Riverside Retail Park on April 22 and stole approximately £450 worth of household furniture and items.

He then returned on May 1 to a separate business in the same retail park, stealing £138 worth of clothing.
Sharpe also attempted to steal a till from a business in Duke Street on May 12.

He was arrested on Monday and taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
He appeared at Norwich Magistrates Court on Tuesday after pleading guilty to three counts of theft and two counts of trespass with intent to steal.
He was also ordered to pay £154 in compensation.
