The new look of a jewellery shop which has been a staple of the city since 1834 has been revealed as its overall rebrand continues.

Located in London Street, Winsor Bishop jewellery shop first opened 187 years ago.

However, it will now be known as Prestons Norwich after the firm bought the shop in 2021 in a £2m sale.

Karl Massey, managing director of Prestons, said: "Norwich is a wonderful city and the perfect location for the expansion of Prestons.

"This process has not been change for change's sake, it's been a journey undertaken with care due to the listed status of the premises and the refurbishment and refitted areas are designed to last for many years."

Approving the plans on May 12, 2023, Norwich City Council told the jewellers it would have to complete the work within three years.
