A street near Norwich will be blocked off for more than a month due to roadworks.

Gage Road in Sprowston will be closed for footpath maintenance for seven weeks starting on January 22.

The works will be carried out throughout the road from the junction with Linacre Avenue to Parana Road.

The entrance to Gage Road will also be blocked from the junction with Linacre Avenue as this space will be used as a compound site.

Access to properties and businesses will be maintained where possible and there will be a signed diversion route in place.

The work will cost Norfolk County Council around £75,000.
