There was never any doubt what T'Pau would finish with and the Let's Rock crowd were on their feet as soon as Carol Decker uttered the words last song.

They made sure that China In Your Hand was the first singalong and wave your hands hits to spread through the full Earlham Park crowd.

T’Pau became one of the most successful and biggest selling bands of the late-1980s, riding the crest of a wave, enjoying a quadruple platinum number one hit with their debut album, Bridge Of Spies.

Dressed in a sweltering looking leather outfit, the flame-haired singer delivered an earthy charm, dropping a couple of not strictly family friendly words into between song banter.

But the short but sweet set proved perfect for a laid-back spot the mid-afternoon in the sun.

They have the hits Heart and Soul, Valentine and, of course, China In Your Hand, which spent five weeks at number one.

No surprise Let’s Rock was word perfect.
