This great Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice classic thunders into Norwich as a real end-of-summer treat for audiences. Keith Jack brings a rather charming innocence, and a huge cheeky smile, to the role.

Keith was the runner up in the telly show Any Dream Will Do, but here he finally gets to wear the fabled coat (taking over from winner Lee Meed).

He has a sweet yet powerful voice and the capacity audience were immediately won over by him and the hard working cast who didn't put a foot wrong, despite a frantic pace.

Narrator Jennifer Potts was pitch perfect and Adam Jarrell was great fun as the Elvis-inspired Pharaoh.

Youngsters from the Broadland Youth Choir were on top form while the brothers, all new to their parts, looked like they'd been doing it for months.

While the music blared out classics such as Close Every Door, Any Dream Will Do and my favourite, One More Angel, it is the lyrics that surely make this a hit – how about the brothers claiming: 'But it's that coat, that really gets our goat'. Marvellous stuff.

?It's as bright, brash and breezy as you'd imagine and makes for a thoroughly enjoyable couple of hours, with the megamix finale a lovely touch.

You'll be on your feet and singing along before you know it. The show turns up in Lowestoft before too long, so you have the chance to see it then if you miss it in Norwich.
