From a giant iPhone selfie booth and retro arcade to beautiful textiles and captivating animations, this year’s Degree Shows at Norwich University of the Arts are a stunning showcase of the work of the next generation of artists and designers.
The shows open to the public tomorrow and feature the work of more than 600 final year students.
They provide a brilliant snapshot of the amazing work being created across the university’s wide range of courses including fashion, fine art, illustration, photography, games development and graphic communication.
Professor John Last, vice-chancellor of Norwich University of the Arts, said: “Strong themes run through much of the work in this year’s degree show reflecting students’ concerns, notably about the environment and sustainability and global affairs.
“But there’s also a sense of playfulness about the work too – inviting visitors to the show to engage with these themes in an insightful and often witty way.
“There’s certainly evidence of a vintage year for awards at NUA with students across courses winning honours and acclaim for their work.”
• The NUA Degree Shows open tomorrow and will be open every day from 10am (11am Sunday) until Wednesday, July 4. For more information, visit www.nua.ac.uk/events/degree-shows/
