More services have been added to a Horror Train in Norfolk this Halloween due to tickets selling “extremely fast”.
American producers and scare attraction experts, LOCO, will be taking scaring to the next platform when its Horror Train makes an appearance on the tracks of the Mid-Norfolk Railway (MNR) later this month.
For 10 nights of petrifying performances, a scare crew and cast team of up to 70 will steam ahead along more than 20 miles of terror-stricken track. But be warned, it may not be long before your scenic journey is interrupted.

And due to popular demand an additional departure time of 5pm has been added to the scare schedule, which already sees two trains leave the train station at Dereham at 7pm and 9pm each evening.
Mikey Lowe, executive producer of LOCO said: “We are exceptionally pleased with how well our first UK Horror Train has been received. We were at 60pc capacity within 24 hours of going on sale which is incredible.”
Scare attractions have become increasingly popular over the last decade, with more than 100 now operating in England, and 1,000 in the United State of America.
And although Loco is the first of its type to take place on a real moving train, it is not the first American input at the MNR. Last year, the Polar Express train ride operated on the line for the first time to an audience of almost 12,000 passengers and it is returning this Christmas.
Charlie Robinson, chairman of the MNR, added: “Hiring the Mid-Norfolk railway to LOCO for the Halloween period is a great opportunity for us to increase our passenger numbers, raise awareness and generate vital income for our charity operation.”
LOCO will run every evening from Monday October 22 to Wednesday October 31. Tickets for this adult only event are available via the Horror Train website.
