Meet the stars at new Norwich festival

PUBLISHED: 13:56 21 January 2011 | UPDATED: 15:00 21 January 2011

Tinie Tempah: Born Patrick Okogwu in London, Tinie Tempah has fast become one of the UK's biggest stars. With five top 20 hits, including number ones Pass Out and Written in the Stars, 2010 was an amazing year for the rapper. He has since won two MOBO awards for Best Newcomer and Best Video and also received four nominations for February's Brit awards, more than any other act.

Taio Cruz: Educated in Sussex, Cruz has become an international star with his brand of American-influenced hip-hop. He has had six top 20 UK hits, including two number ones, but has become as big as star stateside as back home. His single Break Your Heart hit the top spot in the US and Canada and Dynamite reached number one in five countries.

N-Dubz: Camden-born hip-hop group N-Dubz consist of Dappy, Fazer and Tulissa and have become big stars with hits including I Need You and Number One (with Tinchy Stryder). Their success has won
them four MOBO awards including Best UK Act and Best Newcomer, but they have been dogged by a series of controversial claims surrounding lead singer Dappy, including allegations that he made death threats to a member of the public after she criticised him on Radio
One.

Tinchy Stryder: Tinchy Stryder, nicknamed Tinch because of his diminutive stature, has had several top ten hits including Take Me Back, Number One (with N-Dubz) and Never Leave You. Making his name in East London as a grime MC he developed his distinctive style by supporting artists like Kano and Craig David. He already has links with Norfolk as his management team are former City of Norwich School pupils Jack Foster and Archie Lamb, the
son of Norfolk North MP Norman Lamb.
