Live review: Virals’ frenetic and infectious at Norwich Sound and Vision

PUBLISHED: 14:21 12 October 2012

Virals, Thursday, October 11, Norwich Arts Centre

Garage rock four-piece Virals kicked off proceedings at Norwich Art Centre’s main stage with a frenetic set, all power chords and grunge vocals.

The project – formed by frontman Shaun Hencher, best known as the singer in London-based lo-fi band Lovvers – commanded attention with a rapid-fire salvo of sub-three-minute scuzzy songs. Leather jacket-clad and bursting with energy, Virals’ enthusiasm was infectious. 8/10
