It will be lights, camera and action for one Norwich music band as they film their video next month - now all they need are hundreds of extras to join them.
City-based funk/soul band Killamonjambo are appealing for as many people as possible to appear in the video for their song Change My Mind.
The band, who are finalists in this year's Next Big Thing competition, are due to film at Sunday, November 9, at the graffiti wall at Anglia Square.
The seven-piece have recently bought Catton Grove Primary School's old minibus to convert into their band bus and graffiti artists and art school students will be giving it a custom paint job during filming.
Lead singer Joe Man, 28, said: “We've got a few surprises lined up but we're really hoping to get some people turning up.
“We'll have a platform built up around the minibus so that it will look like there are bodies all around it and there will also be a bit of dancing.
“We've also got a theme of random objects and are asking people to turn up with the random object of their choice.”
The band hope the video, which is being filmed by a production company from London with help from city college students, will give their profile a boost.
They are also planning a new sound recording of the song to be laid down at the Spooner Row studio of ex-Darkness guitarist Dan Hawkins.
Mr Man said: “It's a low budget event but we are trying to get it so we can get the best out of it. It will be filmed on industry standard low end cameras.”
The day of filming will be a busy day for the band, as that evening they are due to compete in the final of the Next Big Thing, having won through from their semi-final earlier this month.
People wanting to take part in the video should turn up at the graffiti wall at Anglia Square at 1pm on Sunday, November 9. Filming is planned to take two hours at the most.
