The Sheffield band, of which Fry is the only permenant member, were very definitely one of a number of groups who came along and kick-started the 1980s with their own brand of pop for a 'new decade'.

Their debut, The Lexicon of Love, boasting the majestic production from Trevor Horn, crashed straight into the UK album charts at number one. It remains a classic.

For Let's Rock the band were joined by a quartet of violinists adding extra smoothness to a string of hits including Poison Arrow and All Of My Heart.
