White House Farm’s annual Christmas Market will showcase 70 food and craft producers this weekend.
If you’re the kind of person who likes to get their Christmas shopping well out of the way before the big day itself, make sure you put a special foodie event in Norwich this weekend in your diary.
White House Farm, just on the outskirts of the city (and proud winner of this summer’s Battle of the Bangers) is preparing for a Christmas market running across both days of the weekend (November 18 and 19). It’s fast becoming coined as the Norwich Christmas Market and this year, says Charlotte Gurney, who runs the business with her husban, it promises to be bigger than ever.
There’ll be 70 food and craft-related stalls across two marquees, bringing all you could need for Christmas in one place. Get there early for mulled wine and mince pies - plus tastings of the butcher’s Norfolk Bronze turkey, and prosecco.
Charlotte said: “It’s such a fun weekend when we welcome so many through out doors to kick Christmas off. There’s nothing more satisfying than finding a few early presents in November before the Christmas whirlwind arrives. It definitely showcases the farm at its best with the Christmas lights and tree up in the courtyard. People come from far and wide.”
The market runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm both days.
