I am researching and co-writing a small publication title 'The Men on the Dookie War Memorial' which is a profile and reflection 16 men's short personal and military lives.

One of these men is Harold Osborne Browning, born in 1892 in Glendon, Northamptonshire. He was killed in action at Gallipoli, Turkey on October 16, 1915.

His place of association was Cosgrove South near Dookie, Victoria, Australia, serving in the 4th Australian Light Horse Regiment of the Australian Army.

As I have found that he does not have many descendants (as per Ancestry.com), I am seeking a living descendant who may be able to provide family information and/or photos to ensure we include all that is available to ensure a quality tribute to Harold in giving the ultimate sacrifice to your country and mine.

It seems that he had a nephew Harold Osborne Spode Roden (son of Dorothy Browning and Arnold Spode Roden).

After this man's death in January, 1991 at Bury St Edmunds, his widow Joan Margaret G Roden (n Burrows b July24, 1921) relocated to North Walsham, Norfolk where she died in 2002.

I am unsure where she is interred.

I am hoping there may be some living descendants or family of these people who could contact me and assist me with my research.

I would be ever so appreciative of any help regarding this family. We plan to have the publication available on November 11 2017, so time is precious.

There is an upcoming musical titled 'Dookie-The Musical' where the story focuses on the 'Men on the Dookie War Memorial' and our publication intends to compliment this event, which is scheduled for Anzac Day (April 25) 2018. The stage play 'Dookie' was very successfully performed in 2015.

I look forward to any correspondence and thank the editor of this paper for providing me with such an opportunity to publish my request.
