Did anyone else see the sweeping lights over Hellesdon on Friday night?

They were like two giant searchlights sweeping the sky from left to right and back again at cloud height.

The beams were level in the sky with no apparant point of origin, but appeared to be over Hellesdon.

We first noticed them at 10.40pm and they stopped at 11pm.
