6. In 1960 the Royal Family visited the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital - Queen Elizabeth was accompanied by Mr. H.S Matthes, chairman of the Hospital Management Committee, and Miss J. Watson, Matron of the hospital. As seen in the picture, many parts of the grounds where the Queen passes were lined by nurses and hospital staff.
