Can you help solve the mystery of the City stars of the day at the Christmas party many years ago?
Norwich City has always been a club at the heart of the community – and over the years its players have reached out to the fans across the city and county.
They know how loyal and dedicated those supporters, people of all ages and walks of life, are.
Men and women, boys and girls who dig deep into their pockets to prove time and time again they are among the best in the land.
And what a fantastic couple of years it has been for the club and the fans.
What has happened as the Canaries continue to fly high has been a huge boost – not only for the fans but for the whole city.
Norwich has earned respect in the Premiership and the club is the envy of so many others.
Away from the pitch Norwich City players have proved time and time again over the decades they appreciate the support they receive and regard their supporters as their friends.
Christmas is a time when the players make an effort to meet the fans – and they always have done.
Years ago they would be the star attraction at gatherings in the city and across the county and this old picture was taken at one of those events.
But where? And when?
The photograph comes from Sylvia Shaw, of Rackheath, and her late husband Ken played for the Canaries around the time of the second world war.
“I remember him saying how they would travel around at Christmas time meeting their fans and spending some time with them,” she said.
It is believed this photograph of a community party was taken in the late 1930s or 1940s, either just before the second world war or during it. Take a close look and see if you recognise anyone.
There are a lot of smiling faces. Sylvia would love to know where it was taken and put some names to the faces.
