It's the Olly and Jonathan show - and they promise a night of classic music with plenty of laughs along the way.

Two of our finest entertainers – Olly Day and Jonathan Wyatt – are teaming up for a fun-filled night of memorable music at Cromer Pavilion theatre next month.

It's been 10 years these this great Norwich-born double act performed together on the pier in a sell-out show.

'We always love being together on stage and we hope people will come along and have a good night out with us,' says Olly.

Olly will be singing and swinging with Jonathan and his big band in a show on Saturday, April 21 full of traditional Norfolk wit and some great music.

They have worked together for the past 15 years. The shows they put on at Mundesley Festival are sell-outs so they decided to put on an extra concert at Cromer.

'I love singing with the big band. It's such a thrill to be able to perform classic songs made famous by my heroes – the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Matt Monroe plus some modern classics from Michael Bubl,' said Olly. 'People always tell me after the concert how fantastic it is to hear an orchestra playing in the same room as them, when you hear the Glenn Miller classic played as they should be, it has such power and excitement.'

This year Jonathan, once the youngest big band leader in the land, is celebrating 25 years in the business.

'It's always a thrill and a real pleasure to put on a show with Olly,' he said.

Olly, who has appeared in the last three Christmas seaside specials at the Pavilion, added: 'Cromer has become my winter residence and I have lots of friends on the Pier and in north Norfolk. I am looking forward to seeing them all again.

'The best thing about performing there on April 21 will be walking to work along the pier without the snow and freezing wind blowing in my ears,' he smiled.

Tickets for the show cost 17 (16 concessions). Call the box office on 01263 512495 or visit www.cromer-pier.com
