History will be made on July 1-3 as the MCE Insurance British Superbike (BSB) Championship powers onto the all-new Snetterton 300 circuit, at one of the fastest tracks on the calendar. To celebrate Evening News has joined forces with Swan to offer three lucky readers to chance to win a pair of weekend tickets.
The new 300 configuration will give fans a completely new BSB experience. You will get closer to the action than ever before and the new spectator banking areas provide some of the best viewing in the UK. Plus there will be the STIHL giant TV screens so you won't miss any of the action!
With the countdown to the final showdown approaching rapidly, the leading contenders will be feeling the pressure of remaining inside the all-important top six in the standings ahead of the final three rounds at a time when podium finishes are vital for credits.
So far this season there has been six different winners from eight races and currently Shane 'Shakey' Byrne has a slight advantage at the top of the standings. The former double champion has won three races so far this season and in the past Snetterton has been a happy hunting ground for the HM Plant Honda team.
American John Hopkins will be on a level playing field for the first time this season as the former MotoGP ace will be learning the new track along with all his rivals.
And don't discount defending champion Ryuichi Kiyonari plus the continued international attack from Josh Brookes and Loris Baz as the fight to become the 2011 champion continues in Norfolk.
Swan Yamaha's Tommy Hill and Michael Laverty will take on their title rivals and we are giving you and a friend could experience the event courtesy of Swan, manufacturer of the UK's number one best selling filter.
