Winger Simon Whaley is returning to Norwich City after League Two club Bradford City decided not to extend his loan spell. The 24-year-old joined the Canaries from Preston last summer on a two-year contract but made just six appearances before joining Rochdale on loan in September.

The 24-year-old joined the Canaries from Preston last summer on a two-year contract but made just six appearances before joining Rochdale on loan in September.After two months at Spotland, he started a fresh loan spell with the Bantams, making six appearances and scoring in the 3-0 win at Grimsby. His loan expired after Saturday's 1-1 draw with Cheltenham Town, in which he was not involved.
