City boss Paul Lambert has won the Coca-Cola League One Manager of the Month award for the second time in a row.

Lambert won the trophy for December and has kept hold of it after City's exploits in January, when they won six out of six games in the league to finish the month top of the table.

Also short-listed for the January award were Geraint Williams of Leyton Orient, Kenny Jackett of Millwall and Swindon Town's Danny Wilson.

Alan Curbishley, chairman of the awards panel, said: "Paul Lambert continues to steer Norwich City back towards the Coca-Cola Championship at the first attempt. Eleven straight home wins is a club record and things are certainly going superbly well for both Paul and the club."

Alan Irvine of Sheffield Wednesday won the award in the Championship and Ian Sampson of Northampton Town was given the League Two accolade.

City striker Chris Martin missed out on the player of the month award, which was won by Swindon striker Billy Paynter, who scored five goals in four league games.

Also short-listed were Chris Lines of Bristol Rovers and Tamika Mkandawire of Leyton Orient.
