Sprowston produced a true team effort to thrash Bradfield by 179 runs and move 59 points clear at the top of Division One.

Half-centuries from Phil Glozier (65), Jon Leverett (52), Iain Murrell (60) and Geoff Roff (51no) gave Sprowston an impressive total, with Bradfield's Tom Whitehouse picking up four for 70.

The wickets, like the runs, were then evenly shared out by the Sprowston attack. Pankog Biswas claimed three for 26, while Andy Hanby, Roff and Will Hampson each bagged two wickets.

Hales remain in promotion contention after their winning draw at home to Sheringham.

Phil Squire (106no) and Chris Hlengani (84) put on 165 for the fourth wicket as the hosts scored heavily, piling on 196 from the last 25 overs.

Sheringham made a flying start in reply, making 70 from their first 12 overs with Matthew Spillett going on to score 99, but they were pegged back and ultimately had to dig in for a draw.

Bradenham picked up maximum points against Topcroft as Brett Stolworthy (five for 32) and Robert Thurley (four for 43) bowled them to a 46-run victory.

James Goodfellow hit 77 for Topcroft, while earlier Bradenham's Mpho Selowa had smashed 102.

Bottom side Beccles picked up their first win of the season as they beat fellow strugglers Norwich A by 120 runs, thanks to Jonathon Puxley (60) and Robert Porter (88).

Tony Bailey's 50no pushed Swardeston A to a 90pc winning draw in a close match at home to Stow. Dammika Perera (50) and W Denny (57) were Stow's main contributors.

Alex Stuart continued to wage war on the Premier Division's bowling attacks as he hit 78 in a seven-wicket win for leaders Downham against Acle. Greg Tullett, Addam Todd and Joss Stuart each claimed three wickets for Downham.

Rayno Arendse (122) led second-placed Vauxhall Mallards A to a three-wicket win at Norwich & Coltishall Wanderers, with Nigel Young hitting 52 and Craig Beedon 58no for the hosts.

Skipper Terry Perry fired 62 for Old Buckenham, but it was not enough to lift the bottom side as Mark Williamson claimed five for 37 and David Tooke hit 53no in a five-wicket win for Diss.

North Runcton moved up to third with a five-wicket win at Cromer.

Richard Charlwood made 64 for the hosts and although Michael Warnes (five for 38) took all the wickets to fall in the visitors' reply, Runcton safely reached their target with half-centuries from Mark Skipper (65no), Andrew Barrett (56) and Sean Hemeter (56).

Mpho Sekhoto's stunning century put Lowestoft out of reach in their winning draw at Brooke. He blasted 174 from 154 balls, while Peter Sims took five for 49.
