Sophie Mckinna, who is ranked third in the UK for U17 shot-put, has received funding from the Norfolk Sports & Cultural Foundation, which supports young talented athletes and artists on the road to London 2012.
Sophie Mckinna, who is ranked third in the UK for U17 shot-put, has received funding from the Norfolk Sports & Cultural Foundation, which supports young talented athletes and artists on the road to London 2012.
Sophie is coached by former GB athlete Geoff Capes and has had a fantastic season, the highlight being her gold medal for England at this year's SIAB international in Antrim.
The year concluded with Sophie accepting the Norfolk U17 Women's Field Award for 2009 at the UEA.
