Sam Sexton is aiming for two Norwich titles in the space of a week after a new date was confirmed for his British heavyweight challenge against Danny Williams.

The Norwich fighter will appear at Upton Park, home of West Ham, on May 15 - a week after City's League One campaign comes to an end. And trainer Graham Everett believes there will be a magnificent city double to celebrate.

'That would be the best seven days of my boxing life,' said Everett. 'It would be fantastic - Sam is Premier League class and we are confident he will beat Williams and win the British title. That puts him up in a list that contains such fantastic names as Henry Cooper, Joe Bugner and Lennox Lewis. It would be a marvellous achievement.'

Williams didn't show up for yesterday's Press conference, when promoter Frank Warren announced a bill topped by Kevin Mitchell's WBO lightweight title fight against Aussie Michael Katsidis.

'That is something that Danny has done regularly in his boxing career,' said Everett. 'That's his prerogative, that's his problem.

'We know that we have eight weeks to prepare for the fight and when Sam gets into the ring he will be in perfect condition. The next time we see Danny Williams, we will end his career.'

Sexton and Williams were due to fight in February, but the Norwich man had to pull out after a damaged hand interrupted his preparations - only for Williams to follow suit when he claimed a virus had hampered his build-up to a fight with Derek Chisora.

Williams has said the fight will be his last and that he wants to leave with his head held high - but the 36-year-old is giving away 11 years and, even though he has a victory over Mike Tyson under his belt, is no shoo-in for victory.

'Sam's back in the gym, he helped Danny McIntosh prepare for his recent fight, he has been working with me in the gym and with and Neil Featherby on the fitness and conditioning and he will be ready,' said Everett. 'I am sure we will retire Danny Williams.'

Mitchell, a life-long West Ham fan, tops what is Warren's biggest show since more than 50,000 packed the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, for Joe Calzaghe's super-middleweight unification fight against Mikkel Kessler in 2007.

James DeGale, the 2008 Olympic champion, challenges for his first title, the WBA Intercontinental super-middleweight belt, while Frankie Gavin, Billy Joe Saunders and Chisora are also on the card.
