Jon Cockburn only playing in his third match in eight months took time to settle but improved over both the matches to win all his games. His availability in the second half of the season could be key to Foxwood's title aspirations.

Ryan Collins starred for Wensum A as they continued on their march to the title with an impressive 8-2 win over their B side for whom Owe Karlsson was the only winner, including the notable scalp of Lauren Spink, her first defeat of the season. Sean Molloy inspired Wensum B2 to a 7-3 victory over Hospitals A with a fine maximum including the doubles. Kevin Gray making a rare appearance for Hospitals ensured Wensum did not have it all their way with fine wins over Frank Hayward and Chris Jones.

Foxwood D were made to fight against lowly NCC to maintain top spot in Division Two with a 5-5 draw. SFC lost ground with their second defeat to Remploy A who enjoyed a good run of results elevating them to 4th position. Telephones C with two victories pushed themselves up to fifth but Wensum E with three defeats in a row are down to sixth.

In Division Three Taverham D worked the double over Dynamic Rams scoring 7-3 at both meetings. Highlight of the match was the game between young Tom Baldock-Yaxley and the unbeaten Steve Gurton. Tom played well beyond his years to lose narrowly 11-8 in the third game and pushed Steve throughout.

In Division Four Wensum G drew with Newton Flotman B, with Chris Cockburn the leading player for Wensum
