Sunday Junior Cup to kick-off series of Norfolk county finals

The first of Norfolk's 10 county cup finals gets under way this evening when the Sunday Junior Cup is contested at the Football Development Centre in Norwich.

Rockland United Under-19s take on Drayton Dazzlers on the ‘Field of Dreams’ pitch at the FDC, in Bowthorpe, and will be followed by four more Friday night finals (all 7.30pm kick-offs).

Both of Norfolk FA’s youth county cup finals, the Stuart Dracup (U14) and John Savage (U16) Cups, then follow on Sunday.

• STUART DRACUP CUP: St Andrews v Attleborough Town – Sunday, March 26 (10.30am)

• JOHN SAVAGE CUP: Firside Athletic v Reffley Youth – Sunday, March 26 (2pm)

• SUNDAY INTERMEDIATE CUP: Hewett Old Boys v North Walsham Town – Friday, March 31 (7.30pm)

• NORFOLK PRIMARY CUP: Dereham Taverners v Castle Acre Swifts – Friday, April 7 (7.30pm)

• NORFOLK VETERANS’ CUP: Thetford Town v Cringleford Veterans – Friday, April 21 (7.30pm)

• NORFOLK WOMEN’S CUP: Wymondham Town v Thorpe United – Friday, April 28 (7.30pm)

The action then moves to Carrow Road next month for the last three finals, including the showpiece Senior Cup final between King’s Lynn Town and Fakenham Town.

• NORFOLK SENIOR CUP: King’s Lynn Town v Fakenham Town – Monday, May 22 (7.30pm)

• NORFOLK JUNIOR CUP: UEA v RUNTON UNITED – Tuesday, May 23 (7.30pm)

• SUNDAY SENIOR CUP: Windmill v CSKA Emneth – Wednesday, May 24 (7.30pm)

Norfolk FA will be hosting a half-time crossbar challenge at each of the FDC finals with all proceeds going to the FA’s Charity of the Year, the Bobby Moore Fund.
