He's the captain spearheading the England bid for glory at the World Cup in Russia – or is he?

Unfortunately current Three Lions strike sensation Harry Kane wasn't able to join us, so we turned to the next best thing ahead of tomorrow's hugely-anticipated quarter-final against Sweden.

Instead we called Joel Moore into our squad, a plumber from Taverham who is quickly becoming used to being compared to the man currently leading the way as top scorer at the football World Cup.

We first met the 19-year-old, an apprentice at Daly Group in Taverham, ahead of Norwich City's first derby clash with Ipswich Town last season.

The look-a-like was talking to our Canaries correspondent Michael Bailey for one of our regular live videos on the Pink Un Facebook page, in a rather noisy pub packed with City fans ahead of the game at Portman Road.

Within seconds of appearing on camera the Tottenham Hotspur star's double prompted a comment of 'is that Harry Kane's brother?' – to a roll of the eyes from the Horsford Under-11s coach.

'I get it quite a bit, that definitely wasn't the first time!' Mr Moore said when we caught up with him. 'Some people had said it to me beforehand and it's carried on as it's got closer and closer to the World Cup.

'I've been watching the England games in the Horsford Social Club and I've got it a bit but it's probably more people at work.'

Kane, of course, had an ill-fated loan spell with Norwich during the 2012/13 season when he was 19 and learning his trade, failing to score in five appearances of an injury-hit five months.

Now aged 24 he has the world at his feet, taking his tally for the season to an incredible 52 goals in 56 matches in all competitions, as he continues to be touted as the current best striker in the world.

The Londoner has scored six goals so far in Russia, leaving him two clear of Belgium's Romelu Lukaku in the race for the prestigious Golden Boot.

Now Mr Moore is the closest the Canaries are likely to get to Kane for quite some time – and he's full of confidence that his doppelganger is going to fire England past Sweden and into the semi-finals tomorrow (3pm).

'I think it will be an easy win,' he added. 'Everyone's being really nervous about it but I'm confident, I think we'll win 3-1 and Kane will score the first.'
