Gorleston put a run of six successive defeats behind them to win for the first time since Stewart Larter's return as manager.

For the fourth time this season the Greens managed to build up a two goal advantage - and they went on to make it tell for the first time to beat Ipswich Wanderers 6-0.

Joe Watts scored in the 26th and 59th minutes to put his side in control, with a quick brace from Ross Gilfedder (68, 72) and late goals from Mitch McKay (86) and Gilfedder (90) completed the rout.

Neighbours Great Yarmouth Town also got back to winning ways by hammering Fakenham Town 4-0 at the Wellesley. It was a sweet win for the Bloaters who had been left high and dry by the Ghosts players’ refusal to play them earlier in the season because of behind-the-scenes issues. Once Mitch Forbes had opened the scoring in the 37th minute the floodgates opened, with Ben Lewis (55), Forbes (62) and Lee Roots (68) all on target.

Wroxham scored early to win 1-0 at Thetford Town.
