Four-goal Jack helps Ceyms clinch title

PUBLISHED: 15:07 18 April 2017 | UPDATED: 15:07 18 April 2017

Four goals from Jack Hurrell helped Norwich Ceyms clinch the Division 2B title as they won 4-1 at second-placed Hellesdon.

That result, coupled with North Walsham only drawing at Harleston Town, means attention now turns to the battle for second between Hellesdon and North Walsham, who are two points behind but have two games in hand. For Ceyms it is back-to-back titles.

In the Premier Division, Schoolhouse went on a goal spree, completing their league season with a 15-1 win at Bungay Town and can now look forward to the League Cup final against Norman Wanderers on May 12.

The only game played in 1A saw Jatinder Dhaliwal, Rob Holl, Lee Smith and Andy Adams score as Vale Longo won 4-0 at Newsman Celtic.

Warwick St United Reserves left it until the final game of the season to record their first victory. Two Mike Adcock goals and an own goal helped them to a 3-2 win at Brooke Reserves.
