The derby match between Horsford and Norwich at Manor Park ended in a draw - but it was an enthralling affair, with both sides going close to claiming the win.

The home side had to work hard to get up to 208 in their final over, with Stephan Marillier (58) and Jonathan Crowe (46) the main contributors.

When Norwich reached 126 for the loss of just two wickets they were firmly in the driving seat but the tried and trusted spin pairing of Chris Brown (4-29) and Ryan FIndlay (3-41) then turned the screw and the visitors had slipped to 188-9 when stumps were drawn.

Oli Higenbottam (82) and Ashley Watson (68) were the star men for Norwich.

Vauxhall Mallards had a frustrating afternoon as visitors Cambridge Granta clung on for a draw after a home total of 219-9 (Matthew Plater 80) quickly became out of their reach. They finished on 138-8, after being 112-8 at one stage, with Paul Bradshaw taking 4-29.
