After beating Hadeligh United 9-0 at home last weekend, the Brecklanders treated their home support to another superb attacking display with a convincing win over the Essex side. Andrew Wood helped himself to a hat-trick fir Town, who also drew with Yarmouth in midweek, whilst Robbie Priddle, Max Melanson and Ben Anderson were also on the scoresheet.

Kirkley & Pakefield put struggling Ipswich Wanderers to the sword with an impressive 4-0 win at Walmer Road. The Royals followed up their 2-1 win over Stowmarket last weekend with another victory courtesy of goals from Liam Harvey-Cooper (2), Jordan Haverson and substitute Will.

Great Yarmouth Town put further distance between them and the bottom end of the table with a 2-1 win at Wivenhoe. Yarmouth, who are 19th in the table, ground out an important three points thanks to a Mitch Forbes’ brace. East coast rivals Gorleston’s home clash was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Wroxham are in sixth position after they came from behind to claim a point at Haverhill Rovers but it was a day to forget for Fakenham Town as they were well beaten 6-1 at Coggeshall after a poor second half performance. The Ghosts, who saw caretaker boss Alex Walpole stand down last week, are on the lookout for a new boss, who will be asked to steer them away from trouble near the bottom end of the table.

Diss slipped to defeat in the First Division at high-flying Whitton United but King’s Lynn Town are handily placed in fourth as they beat Cornard 2-1 thanks to goals from Matt Franks and Jack Frohawk.

Downham suffered a heavy defeat at home as Debenham ran out 4-1 winners at Memorial Field – Simon Bird getting the goal for the home side. Norwich CBS were deprived of the chance of following up their heroics in the FA Vase as their home match against Braintree Reserves fell victim to the weather whilst Swaffham’s trip to Halstead will also have to be rearranged after suffering the same fate.
