England Ladies’ Under-20 roller hockey team won bronze in the recent European Championship, which were held in Darmstadt, Germany.

Two of the team were connected to Norfolk, with Abbie Morley a member of Norwich City Roller Hockey Club and Kasia Parfitt a member at King’s Lynn.

Morley, 19, learnt to skate at the age of three and has been playing for Norwich for about two and a half years.

She has trained regularly with the England squad for two years and was delighted to have made it into the England Under-20 squad this year – her only regret is that she didn’t take up the sport at an earlier age!
