Norwich Gymnastics Club had two members qualify for the regional finals held at Ipswich last month, where gymnasts from all over the Eastern Region took part.
Other counties taking part included Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk.
Dulcie Canham, who is a member of the Eastern Region squad, took part in the 10/11 age group and had an excellent competition with no falls and scored 11.05 vault, for third, 11.45 bars, 10.85 beam and 11.60 floor giving her a total of 44.95 and sixth in the competition.
Eleanor Bradley, took part in the 14-plus age group and also had a very successful competition with again no falls off any apparatus.
Her scores were 10.90 vault, second place, 10.80 bars, 10.25 beam and 10.80 floor giving her a final total of 42.30, and was placed second overall, winning the silver medal for the competition.
