Robert Huth took plenty of satisfaction in keeping Norwich City quiet as Stoke condemned their visitors to defeat.

The centre-back welcomed another clean sheet for the Potters, as Tony Pulis' side – who have competed in the Europa League this season – eased any lingering relegation worries.

'It was a tough, really tough game – it was when we played at Norwich as well,' said Huth. 'They play some good stuff, physically very strong and a fast team as well. So we did really well keeping them quiet. I'm not really sure they had a shot on target.

'To go 1-0 up was a big relief for the stadium – you could see everyone was buzzing, and after that they didn't really create much to get back into it.'

Huth admitted Stoke were unable to find their usual potency from set-pieces: 'It's difficult with someone hanging off the back of you.'
