Ahead of tonight’s big game at Carrow Road, Norfolk-based Liverpool supporter Daniel Moxon still can’t quite allow himself to believe that the Reds’ 30-year wait for another title is finally over.

So, 22 points clear with 13 to play, are you finally allowing yourself to believe the 30-year wait for another title is over?

Not a chance! We've been burned too many times in recent history for us to truly believe anything is in the bag until it's mathematically impossible to lose it. Of course it's looking highly likely at this point, but football is a strange game and big leads have been lost before - although, to be fair, not 22-point leads. I still won't rest until it's confirmed, though.

How do you rate your chances of retaining the Champions League as well?

I think we have a decent chance. I think our current situation in the league will help us massively in that respect. If we manage to get the title in the bag with seven or eight games to play, then we can rotate more and really go all out in Europe. We love the Champions League and we've still never lost a two-legged European tie under Jurgen Klopp! Atletico Madrid will be tough opponents in the round of 16 - they're strong defensively and tough to break down - but I reckon we have enough to find a way through.

Clearly all of the players have been superb but which have been the real stars of this season?

That's very difficult! Sadio Mané has been superb, as have Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah. Alisson is an unbelievable option to have between the sticks and the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Fabinho have been rocks as well, but I'll have to say Jordan Henderson. After what might be described as an under-whelming start to the season, the skipper has led from the front and can absolutely dominate any midfield battle when he's in his pomp. Special mention for Trent Alexander-Arnold, I'm not sure there's a better crosser around right now.

Any areas which Klopp will be looking to strengthen this summer?

We've been very quiet over the last few windows with Klopp unwilling to upset the balance of the squad. We have a set way of operating, a strict wage structure and an extremely organised recruitment plan. Our sporting director, Michael Edwards, has done absolute wonders to build the squad we have and still have a fairly low net spend. If we do go for anyone it will probably be a forward, to either supplement the front three or replace one of them. Kylian Mbappé and Jadon Sancho have been touted, pushed on by the new kit deal with Nike, but I reckon Timo Werner from RB Leipzig is the most likely.

Can you see Norwich causing the Reds any problems at all?

I can. Norwich were good in the reverse fixture on the opening day, and the 4-1 scoreline was harsh on the Canaries. Despite their points tally and place in the relegation zone, I think everyone recognises that Norwich have played some really good football and can be very dangerous. Daniel Farke's side famously beat Manchester City at Carrow Road earlier in the season, so there's no reason why they couldn't cause another big upset. Liverpool will have to be on their game.

Have you been surprised to see City spend so much of the season adrift at the bottom?

I think everyone has been. Norwich have a good manager, decent squad and play attractive football. There are holes in the squad, and sometimes I feel there has been a little bit of naivety in their play, but I think they're unfortunate to be where they are - especially considering some of the injury issues that the manager has had to contend with this season. If the Canaries do go down, I think the absence of defensive cover and a lack of Premier League experience in the squad will be largely to blame.

Have any of the Canaries players impressed you?

We've been linked with half of them! City have some superb youngsters, who will either grow with the club and help push them on or be sold for a premium so that the squad can be invested in. The full-backs, Max Aarons and Jamal Lewis, are very impressive, and I like the look of centre-half Ben Godfrey too. Teemu Pukki hasn't been as free-scoring as he was last year but has still come up with some important goals. I think Emi Buendia is the star turn, though. Liverpool have liked to raid a relegated club in recent years, and I wouldn't mind a swoop for the Argentine if City do go down.

What is your prediction for the game?

I think it will be a tough game and I'm expecting Norwich to give as good as they get, but when your team has only dropped two points all season the only prediction you can realistically give is for another win. There have been a lot of occasions where we've found it difficult this season, but we now have that incredible quality of grinding out victories in games that we might not deserve to win. That may well be the case here - Liverpool to win by the odd goal.
