Out-of-favour Norwich City winger Sergi Canos is a reported target for Scottish giants Rangers.

The 19-year-old has barely featured for City since a summer switch from Liverpool for around £2.5million, making five first-team appearances, just two of which have been starts, and scoring twice.

The Scottish Daily Express claim Rangers boss Mark Warburton now wants to sign the Spaniard on loan for the rest of the season.

Canos scored seven goals in 38 Championship games while on loan at Brentford from Liverpool last season but was dropped by Alex Neil after a poor performance in a 3-0 loss at Birmingham in August, only figuring as a substitute in the EFL Cup fourth round tie at Leeds in October since that defeat.

The report goes on to say that Canos is undecided over a potential move to Glasgow, with ‘strong interest’ in his services from English sides also reported.

The winger played for Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy as a youngster but joined Liverpool as a 16-year-old.
