Bordeaux striker Enzo Crivelli is set for a five million euros move to Ligue 1 side, Angers.
The 22-year-old has been on Norwich City’s radar in the past, according to L’Equipe, but as the Canaries look to trim their wage bill the striker is no longer a target.
Crivelli, who has five caps for France’s Under-21s, scored 10 goals on loan at Bastia last season but couldn’t stop his side being relegated to Ligue 2.
Crivelli’s form last season has at least seen him be linked with several French clubs including Metz, Guincamp and Montpellier.
Middlesbrough have also been keen on Crivelli, who has got two years left on his contract at Bordeaux. Garry Monk is reportedly on the lookout for striker reinforcements after Alvaro Negredo’s loan spell at the Riverside came to an end.
The Boro boss, who was appointed earlier this month, has just Patrick Bamford and Rudy Gestede as striking options.
