Norwich City have released their Premier League squad numbers ahead of this weekend's kick-off against Crystal Palace - and the prized number nine shirt has been left vacant ahead of the closing weeks of the summer transfer window.

Alex Neil reiterated at Colney earlier on Friday he is still in the market for a new striker afte rbeing linked with a host of hitmen during the close season and Kyle Lafferty has vacated the number nine shirt for the coming season. The Northern Irishman, who has yet to feature after picking up a knee injury in pre-season, will wear the number 19 for the new campaign.

Ricky van Wolfswinkel has been allocated the number 29. Liverpool loan signing Andre Wisdom takes Carlos Cuellar’s number three shirt and Robbie Brady will wear number 12, which was given to Tony Andreu last season.

Harry Toffolo gets the number 15 shirt after his progress at Swindon and during pre-season but the likes of Louis Thompson, Josh and Jacob Murphy and Jamar Loza do not have a shirt number ahead of the new campaign.
