Sean Raggett was left out of Lincoln City’s 1-0 defeat at AFC Wimbledon in the FA Cup first round, increasing the likelihood of his return to Norwich City in January.
The big defender returned to Lincoln on loan until January but will now be available for City in the third round.
Carlton Morris and Ben Godfrey have been cup-tied though, striker Morris scoring the first FA Cup goal of his career as the Shrews won 5-0 at home against Aldershot, taking his tally for the season to six in all competitions.
Ebou Adams was an unused substitute and along with Godfrey is due back at City in January, with Morris set to stay for the whole season but Norwich having the option of a January recall.
Left-back Harry Toffolo played all of Doncaster’s 6-2 win at Ebbsfleet to also be cup-tied ahead of a January return. Goalkeeper Remi Matthews continued his emergency loan at Plymouth in the first round, in a 1-0 win over Grimsby, with Diallang Jaiyesimi coming on in the 68th minute for Grimsby.
