Norwich City will travel to Premier League side Everton in the third round of the EFL Cup.
Last season City were knocked out in a penalty shoot-out defeat at Everton in the fourth round, following a 1-1 draw in normal time.
Wes Hoolahan and Nathan Redmond missed their penalties in a 4-3 shootout defeat at Goodison Park that night, after Toffees’ midfielder Leon Osman cancelled out Seb Bassong’s opener for Norwich.
The tie is due to be played in the week beginning Monday, September 19.
City held Everton to a 1-1 draw at Carrow Road in the Premier League last season, before losing the return match 3-0 on the final day of the season with relegation confirmed.
The Canaries sealed their place in the third round of the competition with an emphatic 6-1 victory over League One side Coventry City at Carrow Road on Tuesday night.
Everton won 4-0 at home against Yeovil Town thanks to goals from Aaron Lennon, Ross Barkley and a late brace from Arouna Koné.
The draw saw the remaining Premier League teams enter the EFL Cup, as well as the 25 second round winners.
So far 11 Championship teams have been knocked out and four top-flight clubs have been eliminated, with Watford beaten 2-1 by Gillingham and West Brom losing on penalties at Northampton on Tuesday.
League Two club Accrington Stanley are the lowest ranked side remaining after beating Burnley 1-0 in extra-time tonight, with Fulham knocking out Middlesbrough in a 2-1 extra-time victory at Craven Cottage.
