It has been a memorable week in many ways and several of our players have been recognised for their part in our title success.

Grant Holt, Wes Hoolahan and Gary Doherty were named in the PFA's League One team of the season, Fraser Forster was our players' choice as player of the year at Tuesday's end-of-season dinner, and now Michael Nelson has been nominated for the divisional player of the month award.

It has been a terrific team effort by everyone at Carrow Road to win the championship and these individual accolades are well deserved.

You have to give credit where it is due and Doc has certainly come back very strongly this season after hardly featuring in my early games in charge.

I don't know whether that was the jolt he needed to come back and produce his best form but he has been terrific, and the way he and Michael have played together in the centre of defence has been one of the catalysts in our run to the title.

Michael did not enjoy the best of starts here but you can't judge someone for one game at the beginning of August when everything was new to him.

Everybody had a bit of criticism and everybody was hurting after the Colchester game but it was just one game.

His form of late has been terrific. He gives you everything he's got and I thought he was excellent against Gillingham on Saturday.

He's got a big heart, a great desire to win games and he's a terrific lad. You always know what you're going to get from Michael.
